Hand held steamer

I like to make lattes with black tea. I usually boil the milk, water, spices, and tea in a large pot.

I'd like to start just making a cup for myself and not necessarily have to use pots or pans. Has anyone found a good reliable hand held steamer that I could use to heat the milk.

Thank you

I have never seen one however I do know that in the larger espresso machines a high pressure reinforced chamber holds steam in at high temperature to offer an effecient steaming delivery and i cant think of how a hand held version would house such a chamber. If you come accross one I would like to know. Maybe a personal cappacino machine can work there are several on the market that have the steamer spout on the side. Mauirce

Thanks for the response. On the weekend, I was eyeing some of the lower cost expresso machines and will probably pick one up.

1fitness,

Try Bialetti, I have seen one that they made. Sits on stove like a mocha pot. Has the wand and made to create steam for cappucinos Try asking on alt.coffee.
