Holiday Tea: Now or Later?

It's the most wonderful time of the year, and I notice that a lot of the big tea players are coming out with their own exclusive Holiday blends. Some of them sound very enticing, specifically the ones offered by Republic of Tea.

I wasn't sure whether I should buy them now or later. Holiday specific items in the past have had one or two outcomes after the holiday season is over: they're either heavily discounted to get rid of inventory OR they go away and you have to wait until next year to purchase them.

Since this is my first Holiday with tea, I'd like to know what the best course of action is. I go through my tea very slowly, so if the prices will be discounted after the holidays, I'll gladly wait. But, if they'll go away forever, I'll stock up on them now.

Thanks for the help.

Buy what you want to drink, for as long as you want to drink it. Don't stock up on tea; it is perishable. (I myself have three samples from Uptons, which is about 24 cups. I'll go back to real tea after I use them up.) Toci

That chocolate tea from Upton's is pretty good afterall.

I do not know, but last year I tried one of the Republic of Tea holiday blends and it was the most repulsive thing I ever put in my mouth. Juniper berries.... and a lot of other things that are fine by themselves but do not belong in tea.

I'd personally suggest you stay away from that stuff. I'm not a big fan of flavoured teas, but the whole notion of 'holiday flavoured tea' seems very misguided to me.
