I've never tasted the Nilgiri frost tea. There is a Taiwan Oolong version produced only in good years, say they. It's very fine, having small *tough* leaves and a concentrated taste that I still remember, even having had it only once and that somewhat over a year ago.

Danny,

KL Convention Centre??? Now I am confused. I thought the event is in the Mines Convention Centre. Have I had it wrong the whole time? I have been telling people to go there! There is no mentioning of such event on the KLCC website. There is going to be a World of Chinese Books Fair at the Mines Convention Centre from the 17th till 26 Nov. There is no mentioning of tea or coffee related exhibition either. I also looked at the list of exhibitors and I don't see any of the usual tea merchants in the list.

(sorry for the off topic discussion) Hee

Danny,

I just noticed a tiny link on the upper left hand side of the Mines' homepage. It says "Chinese Tea Embarks Into The Global Arena". Hmmm.... There seems to be three exhibitions during that same period of time: "Coffee & Tea Asia 2006", "World of Chinese Books Fair" and "Chinese Cultural Fest 2006". Well, looks like this weekend is going to be interesting.

No, you are right. I translated impromptu direct from Chinese.

I've told my friends to take the KTM from KL Sentral to Serdang and then follow the throng towards the convention centre (about 20 mins walk). The main events I heard, are on the 19th and 20th.

I am sorry to say that I have not even thought thought of this. However I will try it to see if it gives me anything important. Thanks for the insight!
