Looks to me like you are just pissed off because you are in the cheap (bootleg?) DVD business:

Please tell us how they cheated you on a Tea purchase.

Hi Mike and Lisa,

I'm a little confuse here. How can Lisa be pissed off because of teaspring? teaspring only sell teas, right? Unless they are also in cheap bootleg dvd business ... lol. I read about teaspring in teachat and according to one of their customer, they do keep our credit card information, and only recently deleted it. Maybe there's some truth in Lisa posting. Maybe teaspring site had been hack, and someone stole their credit card information.

Yeah, agreed with Gene! JingTeaShop is the best! No-no to TeaSpring! I don't trust site that cannot afford their own SSL cert, but using shared cert instead .

I don't even know Teaspring exist until i read about it here. If this site Teaspring is running a scam, someone should report them and shut them down! Or else newbie like me will buy from them and be a victim like everyone else in this forum :) .

Based on:

  1. Number of posts per profile
  2. timing of posts
  3. English skills

I would guess that Lisa, Gene (possibly), LavenderPeter, and Tea Man are the same person. Sometimes the internet really annoys me. It is petty actions like this that make people like me lurkers rather than active participants in forums.

Lisa, et al, if you have a genuine complaint, please voice it clearly and with evidence to back you up. Do not resort to false identities and childish finger pointing.

You bore me, David L.

OK, I usually don't do this but I feel I must say...I have had nothing but good experiences with Teaspring. They've NEVER cheated me or caused me any grief and I have bought some really nice green teas from them. They also have been very helpful and quick to reply to my emailed questions. Seeing someone claim they are cheating people really steams me up. If you can't prove it then pipe down, you sound like you're just trying to ruin someone's business.

I know other long-time tea drinkers on this list have also used them and I've not heard any negative information about them. I say put up or shut up.

I agree totally - someone is trying to smear Daniel and the TeaSpring gang here. I have done business with them a dozen or more times and have had NOTHING but fast and reliable service and excellent, fresh teas.

Whoever is trying to discredit them are doing themselves a big disservice. The proof is in the track record, of which Teaspring's is excellent.

What makes some people so petty?

I'll put in another good word for Teaspring. They have been very helpful and I've never had any problem with any of my transactions with them. The tea has always been good.

Sighhhh so many Trolls these days, beware. Tea Man, *if* you are for real trust me when I say that "everyone one else in this group" did not get scamed by Teaspring. There reputation is strong and I have never heard of a single substantiated case of anyone being cheated by them. Now, some may not like their tea and others love it, but thats a different story.

Lisa hit Adagio's tea chat too. Teaspring seems to be taking quite a beating. :(

Dear All,

On the 23rd of this month, someone going by the name of "Informer Teaspring," and saying he is a programmer for Teaspring, sent us an email using our inquiry form. He mentioned that Teaspring was trying to defraud us by attempting to pass orders on our website using the cc info from some of their customers.

I read it after coming back from HK yesterday and did some checking. But after seeing the posts from Gene and the other person this morning, and after all the good words that have been posted about Teaspring by people from this forum that I know and trust, I think I won't take much of a risk by saying that these complaints are bullshit (excuse my French).

I contacted Teaspring, they have chosen not to repond to the public bashings as they fear it will only stir the stink, but they have assured me that it is a personal matter and nothing to do with the business.

Good for them. Too bad some people feel the need to attempt to put an entire buisness out of buisness if they're unhapy with what they get or how they're treated.

For that matter, why assume that the complainers are aggrieved customers (assuming there really are more than one?) It could be a competitor; we have no way of knowing, really.

Very true. I've had wonderful experiences of dealing with the never pleased customer, so in instances like this, I tend to assume. I hope this doesn't hurt their buisness too badly. Marlene

my guess is that this is really a spammer trying to 'stealth' promote thier dvd site. Spam is bad enough, it's too bad they're defaming a legitimate business to acomplish thier goals.

Just my two little cents into this string but Teaspring is both a reliable and reputable source and among the most helpful of dealers I deal with regularly. Based on the strings information I would thing Teaspring and Daniel have a clear case of defamation and slander on their hands. It is a shame to smear questionable reputations but when someone has a sound reputation its a down right damn shame! Won't change my purchasing habits from Teaspring at all! And shame on those who's smear campaigns lead to such slander!

I am happy to report that in another group the following has been revealed:

?What can be concluded from this evidence, is that Tea Man, LavendarPeter and Alan (Jamzanville) are all the same person. It would be very easy to contact this person's ISP and file a complaint, if one was so inclined."

If you check the headers of these messages, you will notice they were all posted using the same IP address (63.229.10.116) using the same usenet host (news.uswest.net owned by Qwest Communications Corporation).

See the following headers for details:

"I turned the IP address into an http address -- see what happens:

Seems finally Teaspring and Danny have been cleared and their good name remains in tact!

As for the snake smearing other people shame., Tea is about friends and manners neither of which you display in any measure!
