Thunderbolt Tea?

Takes a good month/six weeks/or a little longer - India and Customs and Homeland Security. Comes in wonderful hand-sewn white cloth package. Pretty good tea. Hold on. Shen

I have only ordered from them once, but my order was worryingly slow and they never responded to my emails at all. When the tea finally arrived, the magnificent packaging made me feel like I was a receiving a package not from just a far off place but also from a far off time!! So I would second Shen's "Hold on" suggestion.

Thanks all. This is what I suspected, but it's good to hear it from folks who have placed orders with them.

I will definitely give it a little longer.

This is my first time ordering something directly from India, so I really just have no idea whether this kind of delay is normal or not. As of today, it's been about 47 days since I placed the order. Do you know how long it usually takes for mail to get from India to the US? Is this normal?

Based on other responses, I'm guessing I should just wait for now. I've never heard of anyone NOT getting their order from them, but delays do seem to be the norm. As Shen pointed out, there are a lot of hurdles between here and there.

Let me know if you think 47 days is longer than normal. If so, I'll be glad to take you up on your offer!

i personally belive that times have changed and 48 hours is a long shipping time...
