what tea did you buy today?

I placed an order with The Real Tea Company -

I have ordered some repeat items -

both of their chai - the regular and the ginger although I must admit I cannot tell much difference between the two ...

the Inverness OPI which I have been drinking first thing in the morning ...

and some of their Earl Grey blend which I buy for a friend who likes Earl Grey the best ...

and trying for the first time (shown with web-site descriptions) -

Pouchong

A simply delicious, sweet, fruity flavour - a real cracker! Great value for a very classy tea indeed.

Bannockburn STGFOP1

What can we say about this tea? Exquisite is the only word that will do. Expensive, but worth every penny.

Tarajuli FBOP

A delightfully smooth, malty Assam, with a hint of oranges.

so what tea did you buy today?

I just recently ordered an "Organic Sampler Pack" of organic black, green, and a White Peony tea from a company called Special Teas for You

They have a variety of teas on the web site in addition to the organics. Having just recently "graduated" to using premium teas there were some interesting varieties offered on the site that I had never tried before. They also had a bunch of different teapots.

Interesting. These guys seem to either be a front for Te Teas

or at least to get most of their teas from Te. They're even using the same pictures.

Weird.

I received two senchas from o-cha.com today, a kabusecha (shade-grown) and a less fancy one.

It's my first order from them. I'll give 'em a whirl in the next few days.
