World Tea Festival

On September 6 and 7, 2003, the First World Tea Festival will be held in Moscow. The Festival is to assist the further development of trade relations between Russia and the tea-producing countries as well as to promote a healthier way of life. The Festival will be held between the old Kremlin walls and St. Basil Cathedral. For two days, this historic area will be transformed into a "City of Tea Civilizations". Visiting specialized pavilions fulfilled in accordance with national architectural styles, the guests will have a chance to get acquainted with tea drinking traditions of different countries of the World. There will be a wide range of products and goods for tea drinking as well as performances of folk collectives from participating countries. The aim of the Convention is to appeal to all nations to obtain peaceful dialogue and harmonious co-existence.
