I bought a bottle of the above for 15.49 pounds at Tesco today. It says on the bottle that it is an Islay single malt, non chill filtered, 41.2%. Does anyone know from which distillery it comes.

It won't be consistent, they'll just buy from whichever distillery is cheapest at a particular point in time. It's most likely an 8ish year old Laphroaig, Ardbeg or Bowmore, since the others are too expensive.
By the way, if anyone likes Talisker that's what MacLeod's Islands single malt is atm. Damn good value for £16.50, very little different from Talisker itself for £26ish (40% rather than 45%). They also do an Islay 8yr old for the same price, which _might_ be Laphroiag, but I'm not entirely sure.
It's a 12yo Bruichladdich , similar in style to the previous owners Bruichladdich releases and not a bit like the Jim McEwan inspired Laddie . Personally i don't like it prefer the J.M. stuff.... Slainté Gordon
