Just opened my first bottle of Bowmore Dusk.I really like it alot. It's enough lighter than the Mariner that the peat comes thru much better with no overly-sweet finish. This has a Claret finish, which I guess means it's casked in old Bordeaux wood??

I re-sampled my Bowmore Dawn over the weekend. If found, somewhat to my surprise, that I've gone off it a bit. Either it's taken on a soapy overtone since October (when it was opened) or it was there to begin with and I didn't dislike it then.
Slightly disappointing.
