Good books?

Hi. I'm after a good all-round book on whisky - perhaps a look at some (most) of the Scottish distilleries. Apart from 'Raw Spirit' (more of a travelogue but fun nevertheless) are there any recommendations?

I think Michael Jackson has a guide to Scotch (the beer book guy, not the white woman from Neverland)

Michael Jackson's Malt Whisky Companion 5th Edition is always worth a look.. check out Amazon UK for a review

finnegans wake. oh wait... thought you meant a good all-round book WRITTEN while on whisky.

cheers! Doc

I ended up getting Michael Jackson's "Whisky: The Definitive World Guide". Not quite what I asked for but may what I was actually after :-)

Thanks for the advice.

The Whisky Bible perhaps?

Hi, Jim!

You'll find a good list of books on this website:

Just bought it - looks like it fits the bill perfectly.

Thanks.
