Hope you enjoy those. Personally, I don't care for a sherry finish on the island whiskies.
But that one would be a keeper. 8;)

Hey, most expressions of Lagavulin have spent time in sherry casks. So have some of the Taliskers. As long as the sherry isn't heavy enough to overwhelm the island character, and I haven't found one yet in which the sherry dominates, I'm very happy with it.
Bill I found the Talisker to be nice and certainly not sherried heavily. In fact the sherry is very non obtrusive. In comparison to the "regular" flavor it is bitter-sweet , a bit softer peat ( but not to soft ) that still finishes big. I still get the famous pepper although the sherry keeps it somewhat subdued.
