Loch Dhu

Anybody know what a bottle of Loch Dhu is going for these days?

Yeah, I have a bottle that the guy at the store talked me into trying. What the heck, I thought. It's only money, after all!

I'd like my money back. I keep it because I paid for it. I can also try it out on visitors who haven't tried it.

I can drink it but why? I have so many others that are great to taste. I guess I'll have it for some time to come...

I tried it a couple of times in a local restaurant's bar when it first came out, and sort of liked it. Still have 1/2 of the bottle left, though, so I guess my wife and I don't like it that much.

But it's all up to individual taste -- to me, for example, Loch Dhu beats the hell out of almost any grappa I've ever tasted!

Have a wee dram of Jacopo Poli Grappa Amorosa di Cabernet sometime.

10 to 15 C. is the best temp for it, but I like it at room temperature, too. Also excellent in your morning espresso, but that's kind of a waste.
