I will be in the Los Angeles area in a few days for a few days. Any suggestions for a good liquor store? Single malt and bourbon are of interest.

The place I use is Vendome Liquor in Toluca Lake. They have a strong selection of Scotches, SM & blended, and of Bourbons, plus just about any other kind of alcoholic beverage you can think of. They have several other stores in So Cal, too. Sadly, I know of no SM bars in the area, but I'm sure there must be some.
Vendome's prices and selection pale in comparison to that of the Wine and Liquor Depot

Thanks. I've bookmarked their page and since they're not far, I'll be taking a trip out there.
Slainte!
We are 35 miles east of Los Angeles, and at
The only stores that were convenient to check were Wine & Liquor Depot and Liquorama. I arrived at Wine & liquor Depot at 7:15 PM on a Thursday and they were closed. I have never heard of a liquor store that closed so early. Even the state run stores here in Washington stay open until 8:00 PM.
But I stopped at Liquorama on my way out of the L.A. area and they had a fantastic selection of single malt scotch and bourbon. (Most probably wine and other stuff too, but my only interest was scotch and bourbon.) I found a bottle of Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 1990 vintage, 93 proof and a bottle of Old Rip Van Winkle 10 yr, 107 proof. I had heard good reports on both but had never been able to find either. Both are fantastic bourbons. And I bought a bottle of Highland Park 12 yr for $36.95. It is my favorite non-Islay malt but it costs $56.95 in the state liquor stores here in Washington.
Thanks for the suggestions.
