Did you have it in Italy
In Italy you can find younger expressions of the the well-known single malts
I had the 7 y some years ago in Rome, haven't seen it elsewhere. I found it quite pleasent, but didn't expect too much back then....
IMHO the Macallan tops at 12y, meaning that more happens from 10 to 12 than from 12 to 18.....

- I've had opportunity to pick it up again, but haven't. If you've had other expressions of Macallan, this one leaves you hungry.
