Mix Whisky with Water

I like to add a little water to whisky. Generally I like to enjoy the aroma and then the tase without, and after add a touch of water and do it again. In my experience, alot of times it seems to make the aroma more pronounced. Of course with some that is not the case and thus, neat it is.

sorry if it sounded like I was implying a simplistic causal link; I figured the butter link would implicitly warn folks off that conclusion.

indubitably. don't we happen already to know that in populations that drink moderately, life expectancies are slightly higher?

yep, head-and-neck. there are other studies, though; I just picked a recent one with numbers in the abstract. still, if you don't binge drink, are in decent shape and eat your fruits and vegetables, I wouldn't worry.

I hadn't thought of that. turns out another risk factor apparently is acid reflux. of course, stomach acid is a whole lot more irritating (not to mention directly damaging) to human tissue than hard liquor.
