Signed bottle of Bushmill 16 year old single malt

I brought a bottle of Bushmill 16 year old single malt for St. Patrick's day. When I opened the box, I saw that the bottle was signed by the Master Distiller and dated March 06. Has anyone else seen this on a bottle of Bushmills? Thanks.

I think that that was what is called "a marketing ploy" - "Master Distiller" (in Diageo-speak certainly) is the marketing word for the distillery Manager, (he moves on every three or four years, so is guaranteed to have had absolutely nothing to do with the distilling of your bottle's contents) who today is an administrator who probably knows as much as you do about distillation, but the computer hasn't yet been taught to sign its name!

I think that you've got a nice bottle of 16 year Irish malt!

Thanks. I figured as much, but was curious about the signed bottle and was wondering if anyone else had one.
