2000 Latour and Lafite - wine list price?

Do you mean on a restaurant wine list? I think most of the 1sts are in the $400-500 range at retail (the Latour is often a bit more than others, but I don't know that's the case for 2000 - I know Margaux probably is at premium). Figure twice or more on a restaurant list. Though who the hell would order immature almost certainly shut-down

You know that answer as well as I do: any number of naïve consumers with deep pockets or expense accounts and the desire/need to impress a boss/customer/date. It's especially tragic when they order it to accompany carefully prepared and delicately flavored food, but de gustibus and all that...
