WIth grilled chicken last night. 2002 Patz and Hall Hyde Vineyard Pinot Noir. Deep reddish purple in the glass with a bit of clearing at the rim. Pungent nose of black coffee, exotic spices, blackberry and black dirt. Medium weight with spicy berry pie flavors. There is a slight bittnerness similar to what you would find in strong black cofee. Lots of piot nuances, cola, black cherry. "B"
