Opened with duck pizza. 2010 Roar Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir. Fairly deep purple in the glass. Nose of wild blackberries and musky spices almost incense. Smooth low acid California style with plenty of black fruits, berries, a bit of cola and a finish of Chinese 5 spice. Perhaps a bit flabby for my tastes but I can see the appeal. "B"
