Had a bottle of this yesterday. Very good! Not in the same league with Mastroberardino Taurasi Radici, but not in the same price range either!

Can you put your hands on something from "Cantina Tollo"? They are in Abruzzo, and theyr top Montepulciano d'Abruzzo are very nice, expecially the "Cagiolo" and the "Vino del Sindaco" (Major's wine). They sell for about 12 euros in the shops of the area. Here in the north I can find it only thanks to a good friend who often gets to Abruzzo.

Villi, 'sto qui é un trollone che ce le rompe collettivamente da mesi, non rispondergli, facci un favore. Ciao amico, ci vediamo alla Favorita?

Sorry, thought I would clue my friend Vilco into the reality of the situation.

Beh, finche' non parla di arieggiare il vino... :)

During Vinitaly? Looks like I'll be busy at a marriage saturday, and if I remember well the soiree at La favorita is on friday: so, coming there on friday evening and driving back the same night would be a mess... sigh. BTW, if you're going to travel in Emilia, drop me a line by email

I think the special dinner is on sunday, since it is a sunday-monday event.

Looks like some of my favourite winemakers from ITaly and France will be there...

Cheers

I am getting really excited about the southern reds lately!

Write down a list of the bottles you can find where you live, their price, and let us suggest what it's worth it.

Huh? I can get whatever I need here in Ohio.
