Hi Folks a little help needed I found a bottle of wine in an old victorian house in warwickshire I can just make the name out to be Deinhard & Co - Coblenz rhein moselle any info on this wine would be much appreciated I enclose a couple of photographs sorry about quality TIA to any responses

Sorry, you can't enclose pictures in mail to newgroups... Deinhard is a big merchant in Germany, mostly middle quality wines. The spelling of Coblenz is a bit ancient, normal is Koblenz today. If you don't see any other names on the label it is probably a generic wine that should have been drunk a long time ago. Check the label again and see whether you can find any more information hth Anders
