Banyuls - Temperature

May 10, 2014 4 Replies

We've had Banyuls only once, and the wife remembers it being chilled. I remember it at room temperature.

Which is recommended?

I drink it slightly chilled to about mid 50's temp.

That was about the temperature at which it was served to me in a Michelin two-star (Stucki/Bruderholz, Basel, Switzerland). Seemed right to me!

Best wishes to all, Charley

We like it a little cooler. Anyway, mid-50s is room temperature at our house. :)
