Used to buy these 6 at a time for 18.00 Canadian per bottle. Yesterday I went to pick up a few more and now see that they are selling for
33.00 Cad per bottle.Anyone else notice a price increase in their area?
$33 for the 1998. The same vintage I've been paying $17 for !!!

Sorry, I know how you feel, but it happens. The 2000 Cap de Faugeres got a lot of attention, and got scarce. Meanwhile, the '98 - another strong right bank vintage- is probably gone from distributor's portfolio. So now it's benefitting from '00 buzz, AND it's now an "aged" wine and not the current release.
You might try the '01 - pretty nice effort, and still available for under $15US. Good luck!
