Champagne for wedding

I am celebrating my daughters wedding next month. I was thinking of having my family and closest friends to my room at the hotel for champagne toast before the wedding about 4PM. Will invite about 15 - 20 people. Do you think 4 bottles will be enough? I was planning to bring 2 bottles of 1990 Dom Perignon, 1 bottle of Grand Dame 1990 and 1 one of Sir Winston Churchill 1988. Thanks for any advice.

Bad idea. With this allotment you'll have to decide which 10 people get to drink the 1990 Dom, which 5 the GD and which 5 the Sir Winston. Someone's feelings are going to be hurt unless you really plan on giving 1 ounce pours of each.

I'm with Santiago, unless it's a bunch of real wine folks you'd be better off toasting with a younger wine, and saving the mature tete de cuvees for a dinner. If you do want to go with those 4 bottles, that's plenty for 20, even if one is corked. To deal with the "feelings hurt" issue JB mentions, I'd put them all out and let people choose what they want to try.
