Hello,

I recieved a bottle of wine as a gift: Chateau Beauguerit Cotes de Bourg

1986, Grand Vin de Bordeaux. I have looked for information over this wine but I cannot find information about it. Can someone tell me if it is still drinkable or when it will it be drinkable?

With kind regards,

Jan Peter

Any Cotes de Bourg at twenty years old is ready or even past it's prime. Put a couple of steaks in the pan and get on with it. Bon appetit.

It might well be past it,but it won't hurt you in any case! In 1986 only maybe Tayac had a rep for quality in CdB, and '86 Tayac is rather tired. Try it and tell us. Thanks
