Ni hao: Does anyone out there have any recent experince with what types of wine Chinese business men drink from mainland China? I worked wine retail and as a sommelier ten years ago in Los Angeles and Taiwanese were buying 82"s first growths and anything parker gave 95+pts too like crazy. Cheers, Robert
I would have guess Chinese businessmen don't drink wine at all, or only when others are drinking it.
Probably they are still drinking VSOP, Congac, etc. Some Chinese wines started to appear in the market now, which I doubt their quality.
