Delmonico's Menus 1865 -1885

I have six menus from the old Delmonico's in New York City at my site for you to view. They date from 1865 to 1885, and four of them show wines served wth the food. I wonder if any restaurant in the world today could duplicate these meals.

My web host just gave everyone one of the new .info domains if you wanted it with no increase in fees. The competition seems to be hot in web hosting these days. You will be seeing more .info domains as .com, net, etc are filled up.

Interesting. Clos Vougeot seems to be a perennial favorite. And Poe's Cask of Amontillado was indeed a favored wine in the 1800's. Interesting to see it on the menus. It is practically unheard of today. An interesting wine, and interesting menus. Thanks for posting them.
