Hi,
I am having friends over for dinner on Saturday and would like to ask your opinion on the wines I should serve with this menu:
Crostini with mushrooms Pizza in bianco with goat cheese and rucola
Pasta (bavette) with fresh clam., mussel and tomato sauce
Roast veal with rosemary and sage Spinach salad with apples, bacon and almonds Roasted fennel with red onions
Tartufi neri (dark chocolate ice cream creation) and/or white chocolate ice cream with strawberries (probably marinated in red wine, but I can change that if necessary)
I have mainly Italian (Alto Adige, Veneto and Tuscany), Austrian (Wachau), a few Californians and Oregon wines in my cellar. Hopefully I have not stumped you totally with this request!
