My wife and I are heading to the Outer Banks (North Carolina, USA) in July and was wondering if anybody knew of a good restaurant that has a food and wine pairing menu. We've been to Elizabeth's Cafe in Duck, which is excellent, but we want to try something new. Any clues appreciated. Thanks.
Ah, the Outer Banks. Our family loves it there and will be there again in August. Perhaps our 15th trip.
Spent our honeymoon there in 1980 and had a 1971 Ch. Lafite at a Restaurant By George.
I can tell you that Penguin Isle is a nice restaurant and has an excellent wine list. Not sure of the pricing or pairings. Last summer we brought our own bottle, a 1989 Ch. L'Evangile which was superb.
