Go AFW!

So we just got back from nice trip yesterday. Mostly good (except laptop theft on RER in Paris, car rental mixup, and ugliest motel room on planet in Beaune). Great art, scenery, wine visits. But one of the best parts was meeting Mike (and Cathy)Tommasi, Nils Gustaf (and Christina) Lindgren, and Luca(aka Luk). We all had a great meal at Agrodolce in Imperia (best wine for my tastes was a Pigato), and we loved the B&B that Mike suggested. And Nils Gustaf helped obtain our nice Nice hotel, and he and Christina had us over for a wonderful Provencal meal our last night. Brief notes on food and wine when I get caught up, but I wanted to just say thanks to Mike, Nils, and Luca (as well as Fillipo from the Italian wine newsgroup), for making the last weekend of our trip so fun!

Welcome back, Dale. I'm jealous that you got to hang out with the fun folk of AFW's Provence contingent (as well as meeting Luk). Please do post notes when you get the chance. *drool*
