"Great people talk about ideas, average people talk about things, and small people talk about wine."

Well, I guess Graham said it best.

Who is this nitwit Fran Lebowitz (if the attribution is right, of course)? The statement is self-contradictory, because wine is also a thing and an idea, in addition to being, well, wine. :) (Looked her up. Could it be that the statement was actually complimentary? People talking about wine would be small, average and great at the same time - universal, that is.)
