I really respect Jane Macq's opinion, but this has put me in a quandry. I swore to myself that the 2005 claret vintage was the last en-primeur I would go for. I am getting too old, and the thoughts of the kids quaffing 2005 Leovilee Barton would certainly get me turning in my grave.
Now it seems that general opinion is that 2009 is a mega, do I buy for investment or go for good lesser wines for drinking when I am 70+ ?????
as I am getting only 3.5% on cash, what would you do? Sales of my 1982 super seconds helped with uni fees.
Todays Decanter, fresh out of the wrapping is playing wait and see.
