The Dwedge Report has bad news on the Red Sox WS victory.
A Group calling itself "Baseball Fans for Truth" has discovered a secret deal made between the Red Sox management and Yankee management before the World Series and another Steinbrenner coup. Just like Tom Yawkey and Dan Topping almost traded Ted Williams for Joe DiMaggio over a few libations at Toots Shor, The Boss and Tom Warner agreed to trade ownership of the two teams, lock stock and facial hair. George then spoke to Gussie Busch and agreed to sell only their products at all his sports events. In return Busch suggested to his players that they take it easy on the Sox.
Bud Selig is pondering if he should vacate the title if the report is true.
