I've found a few Viogner that are tasty but for the most part white wine is swill.
Received my first allocation of Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir last month. Their Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is in my top 5 under $30.00 Pinot Noirs.
Best under 25.00 is a German Pinot "Friedrich Becker Estate Pinot Noir Pfalz" If you can find it the price is 13-17 bucks and is quite possibly one of the best wines I have ever had the pleasure of swilling like the uncouth basige that I am.
This swilling: does it require any advanced training?
