That is the Monterey, there is another Chalone level that retails at about $30 or more and is very Burgundian in character, rich with just a hint of oak.
From the winery Chalone - or another produce from within the AVA?
I've been underwhelmed with the Chalone (winery) PN's I've had thus far. Maybe not had the right one, but the few I've had were somewhat thin and lacking (for my tastes).
