No, this isn't the same wine I posted on on Tuesday. This is the red version that Steve Edmunds makes from Gamay Noir. Opened tonight with a light pasta dinner.
nose: cranberry, minerals palate: light, bright cranberry fruit, juicy acids
Not quite a dead-ringer for a Cru Beaujolais, this wine is bit bigger and riper but still very much in the same mold. Quite delicious lightly chilled, it is a great food wine and not hard to drink at 12.9% ABV.
