First of all, apologies for the lack of title to my post: it somehow got et during the C&P to post process. Yes, Wind Gap is the new venture of Pax Mahle, formerly of Pax Wines. Unlike the former venture (whose wines I've never tried) the wines of Wind Gap are supposed to be very un-Californian, natural wines with low alcohol, etc. This one example was an interesting wine, but not one that's easy to categorize. Yes, Oliver was Oliver McCrum, who's a very genial person and Slaton (Lipscomb) is the Slaton from CT -- you can also find him at Wine Disorder. He's the iconic wine hipster, but also a very nice guy.
