Priceless, Nils! Thanks for the laughs and my sincere sympathies.
Exactly. These folks are not in the business of changing market perception, but rather of selling wine, preferably ones that have been clogging up the warehouses. So, they stick to what the public knows: Chianti, Brunello, Barolo, Barbaresco -- but the latter two are just too expensive for serving at a tasting. And Amarone/Valopolicella are too good and too unknown to get much attention. Or so it is on this side of the pond.
Interesting notes, Nils. Thanks!
Context? I've been casting about in my memory of his songs and patter for anything like that statement and have drawn a blank. Help would be appreciated, Dr. Chips!

I heard Murray gave 'em the slip and headed for Sweden, any truth to the rumor?
Loved the accordian bit by the way.

According to Ambrose Bierce, "accord" means "harmony". "aCCORDEON" means being in harmony with a mass killer.
