TN Ladoix 2005

thanks for notes. I've noticed over the years that there were a fair number of positive notes on Ladoix wines on various wine fora - almost exclusively from UK posters. I seldom see Ladoix wines, and those that I do see don't usually impress. But I liked a Ladoix in France, and trust many of the UK tasters. My hypothesis is just that UK buyers are tuned into the village, and US buyers aren't (or think it has insufficient name recognition). So we get the dregs. No great revelations here, just musing on how our preconceptions are shaped by what's available in our markets (if DuBouef Beaujolais Nouveau is only Beaujolais available in your market, it might shade your opinion differently than if norm was Vissoux or Brun Beaujolais)
