Need Your Help: Wine Databases

I'm looking to create a wine website. Part of the website would include a wine database. The information I would need on each wine (and your input is welcome here) is the Name, Winery, Appellation, Grape Varietal/Blend, Vintage, Vineyard, Alcoholic Content, UPC code, and possibly a label image. I am guessing I'll need it in an excel spreadsheet.

I've asked wine shops if they keep a database but the ones I've asked don't and say they rely on their distributor/importer. I've tried to contact a few of these but have had no success.

Does anyone know of any public resources that are already in an excel type form? I know there are currently other wine database websites out there and I don't think they'd type each one by one, or rely on site visitors to input them all.

Any insight is appreciated and thank you in advance!

I find cellartracker.com quite useful. It is not kept in an excel database, but one can download a report of one's own inventory in such a database.

If you can't use it for what you need, you might at least explore the data they store for each wine to think about what you need and how you might store it.

I see that many have asked this question on the group before, so to anyone else I apologize for the redundancy. I'm in the process of creating a wine website and having a wine database will be critical.
