TN: Loire, MSR, Margaux, and Bourgognes

2008 Drouhin "Laforet" Bourgogne Blanc OK, I admit, I didn't look closely enough, and used a foil cutter to remove top of the screwcap. Oops.

My B-I-L opened a bottle and was genuinely convinced that it had been capped without a cork until I pointed to the threads on the neck. Graham

It goes back several years now, but my first experience with a screw cap was exactly like that. The foil cutter took off the top and I was astounded to see that there was no cork under it.

Today I'd be embarrassed.

My B-I-L is still living it down! I won't let him forget!!!! Graham
