Two GSMs

Two wines from widely different areas, the common theme that I wanted to test friends that would be blind tasting and the varietal components were similar.

2000 Domaine Clavel La Mejanelle la Copa Santa - 80/10/10 Syrah/Grenache/Mourvedre. Dark wine with a nose of blackberry/black currants, that took awhile in the glass to come out. Ripe, sweet, soft tannin and to be drunk over the next 1-2 years.

2002 Kurtz Family Boundary Row GSM - even darker, sweeter, and more blackberries in this Barossa blend, but this one is definitely ready to roll, and lacks the structure of the French example. If you have this, drink over the next couple of years - it won't get much better than it is today.
