A semi-interesting article on this very topic appears in today's NY Times:

There are also vineyards in Bel Air, Moraga Vineyards on Moraga Drive. This is just across the 405 freeway from the Getty Museum. You can see them from the Getty tram when you ascend up the hill to the museum. Nice wines, but overpriced.

I concur. The wine is okay, but priced too high. FWIW, you can grow wine grapes of acceptable quality pretty much everywhere in California. There is a guy in Pasadena who planted his hillside with wine grapes, too, and I am sure there are more.

death valley? watts? under mudslides? on the banks of the l.a. "river"? on the median between all the freeways? baja?

that decent wine is produced among french and californians at all proves that god has a very warped sense of humor.

can you define "overpriced" in objective terms? the market will always determine what is "overpriced" .... if you personally can't afford it, just say so.

If you're a troll just say so.

He does, read his nickname, would a normal person chose this ?
