Probably hopeless, but I said I would try :).
A friend of mine is looking for a wine she apparently drank a lot in the
80s. She decribes it as coming in a thin black bottle with gold script, and it sounds as though it was an off-dry red. Yeah, that's all the info she has. Apparently it was ~$20 back then, and presumably readily available in NYC at the time.
Ideas, anyone? :)
