I've just found a source of "unfiltered apple juice" at a reasonable price. I've never made wine from apple juice before and am wondering how much I would need for a 1 litre experimental batch?

Anyone have an idea what's a fair price per kg for pick your own plums on a disused plum orchard in the uk? I might try to organise a picking for my local wine soc if the offer is good. There's about 20 trees.
Really ought to just make it an even gallon.
Get a gallon of apple juice & by the time you add sugar & whatever, you'll end up with a gallon after racking.

Yep. Question was more about any necessary dilution, than what a gallon is ;)
