After years of making wines from fruit and grape juice,I'm moving on. This year will be my first attempt at making wine from the grape. I'v found a source for grapes, have purchased a crusher/destemmer, but I'd appreciate recommendations as to what size press would be best for making at least a barrel a year. Thanks, Brent

Whatever the smallest size bladder type basket press you can buy should do the trick very nicely. Might be a 50 cm. If you're only doing ½ ton of grapes, a little smaller than that would be OK, but I don't know if they make bladder presses smaller than 50cm.
