Can anyone recommend a nice up to date book for beginners? I bought one called the joy of winemaking but its American and they have different ways of measuring things etc.

I started with "Home Winemaking" by Terry Garey. The book deals mostly with fruit, veggie, and other wines. If you're interested in making wine from grapes, others may have some suggestions. Darlene
