Never used the bottled oak, I always used oak chips, how much should i use to get a slightly oak taste in 5gal carboy of red wine. Thanks Vince (Buffalo NY )

Start with a teaspoon per gallon. Let it sit a few weeks and give it a taste, add more if you want.

Do a google of this group. There was an extinsive discussion of using liquid oak recently including a meathod for making your own very easily that was given by Jack Keller.
