I saw a post that mentioned a recipe making wine with Kool-aid. Will this work? I've make it with grape juice and looking for something different..thanks!

I've done it with Hawaiian Punch. Tastes great, less filling!
If you are referring to the recipe for Chateau Trailer Park, I wrote the recipe. It was a joke in response to someone who wanted to brew something "fast and cheap." The idea was to make a mash from sugar, water, and Strand's super yeast. This yeast will ferment out to 18-20% abv in 7 to 10 days. Kool-Aid was added to mask the heavy yeast taste I have tasted in mashes.
