I just got a new Italian brass-jaw floor corker (wish I'd done that two years ago!). What should be used to clean the jaws? Also, should the jaws be lubricated at some frequency? With what? Thanks,
Bart

Cork dry. No lube. No need to clean jaws that way.
Ross.
Since the jaws are brass, no lube is needed. The cork slides along the brass and that may contaminate your wine or make your cork too slick to stay in the bottle.
